18 Oct I've being 'seeing' someone (if that's what you call it?!) for about a month now (not just sex, dinner together, drinks, cinema, comes over to watch dvds with me, gets on with my housemates etc.) but I keep getting really mixed messages, he's told me that he's not ready for a relationship right now, which is fair. Seeing someone is before its serious, seeing meaning you guys are just talking, and dating is when youve labeled it a relationship. I feel like with every person you ever "date" or "see" you have to clearly define what that means.
I was "exclusively dating" somebody for three months. I thought that meant we were both only seeing each other and not dating other people. But, according to him, that was not at all what he meant by those words.
