How Big Of An Age Gap Is Too Big In A Relationship?
Hey all I am 31 years old, I had been dating a 21 year old for a few months, at first he and I were friends(I had an immediate connection with him) for like 6 months, then I broke up with the 34 year old guy I was with, and he and I started hanging out. You sound happy enough with him, and you're a mature adult so should be used to acting upon your own decisions, regardless of what others may think about it. Plus, the age gap sounds perfectly reasonable and normal, if you'd really like to know. Follow 4 Not a weird age gap, in my eyes. Source 5 Well, I actually prefer guys who are a bit older than me!

What you should really be worried about is As long as you love him and both of you have lived long enough to understand the consequences of a relationship, you shouldn't be taking any guff about this supposed age gap.
Follow 14 Original post by Slumpy I don't know if I'd say 'come to' so much as 'come from', given, IIRC, 28 Year Old Woman Dating A 22 Year Old Man was the rule for mistresses in France in the 18th century or so!

He has asked me on a date, and I am growing fond of him very quickly. It makes a nice, refreshing change from the men I am used to who are around my age, but I'm not sure if it'd be considered weird, and even if things were to get serious I don't know if my parents would be accepting of it. So, what do you all think? Last edited by Mace84; at Follow 16 Doesnt seem like a problem at all.
