Of course it didnt and within 5 mins after I complained, the technician narrowed it down simply to the RIM rear integration module. As in my case, it was simply the RIM. Good luck and happy driving! It sounds like they may not have spent as much time as required to make a proper diagnosis.
In most cases, it is the compressor that fails and this may have led the tech astray. Warranty was certainly your friend. Either of those items can be a little costly.
